Mount Sinai’s team of board-certified primary care physicians are committed to delivering accessible, high-quality, patient-centered care. Our goal is to make it easy for you to build a lasting relationship with one of our compassionate, expert physicians. By taking the time to understand your health goals and priorities, your physician will help you lead a healthier lifestyle. Our highly skilled physicians are dedicated to the practice of primary care, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult health conditions, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and obesity. Our clinical team monitors each patient’s overall health and well-being, taking into account family history, external factors, and overall lifestyle.

Comprehensive Care

Our primary care physicians help our patients coordinate and manage their care, displaying compassion and taking the time to build a trusted, long-term relationship with each individual. We apply the highest standards in service and clinical medicine, and we provide our patients with comprehensive care, including shared decision-making with the patient and family.

Our team-based, multidisciplinary approach gives our patients coordinated access to more than 40 specialties, using a comprehensive electronic medical record system. This allows for shared access to notes, lab tests, and diagnostic results, creating seamless communication between each patient’s physicians at Mount Sinai. We also work closely with our chronic care management team, which is dedicated to helping our Medicare and chronic disease patients coordinate their care and medical needs.

Education

As one of South Florida’s original statutory teaching hospitals, Mount Sinai prides itself on teaching the next generation of highly skilled physicians and surgeons. Our internal medicine residency program is committed to training physicians in primary care, general internal medicine, and its subspecialties. Having our residents by our side enhances the care for our patients and helps to assure that our community has talented, well-trained doctors now and in the future.
