Supporting High-Quality, Compassionate Care for Our Community

Now and for Generations to Come

Our Mission in Action

For over 75 years, Mount Sinai Medical Center has remained committed to its mission: “To provide high quality health care to our diverse community enhanced through teaching, research, charity care and financial responsibility.”

In 1949, the medical center was established with the purpose of providing Jewish and Black physicians a space to practice medicine with the freedom and dignity they deserve. Now, we hold that same commitment to community close, proudly serving South Florida throughout 13 locations, including three emergency centers.
