Medical Genetics

All human beings have a unique genetic code determining their physical attributes and behavioral features. These codes are stored in chromosomes, made up of DNA molecules held within cells of our body. Each chromosome has hundreds to thousands of distinct segments of DNA molecules called genes. Each gene is responsible for multiple functions that determine specific traits or characteristics.
