Dr. Jennifer M. Watchmaker is an interventional neuroradiologist who treats a broad range of conditions affecting the brain, head, neck, and spine using minimally invasive, image-guided techniques. She earned both her medical degree and PhD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where her doctoral work focused on advanced cerebrovascular imaging. She then completed her interventional and diagnostic radiology residency training, as well as a neuroendovascular surgery fellowship, at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

    Dr. Jennifer M.     Dr. Watchmaker’s clinical work sits at the intersection of neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and stroke neurology, with a focus on the full range of neurointerventional cases, from acute stroke and subdural hematoma to cerebral aneurysms, vascular malformations, and other complex conditions. She has been recognized for her dedication to stroke patient care and her work optimizing interventional radiology workflows.

    Dr. Watchmaker’s research centers on thrombectomy techniques, cerebrovascular malformations, and advanced neurovascular imaging. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and educational exhibits across neuroradiology, interventional radiology, and neuroendovascular surgery.

    Her work has been presented at leading national and international meetings, including those of the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, and the Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology.

    Dr. Watchmaker is fluent in English and Spanish.
