Dunia Fernandez Montero is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in memory and neurocognitive disorders at the Wein Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders. She provides comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Lewy Body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and mild cognitive impairment, working closely with neurologists and multidisciplinary care teams.

She brings more than a decade of clinical experience and advanced expertise in neurocognitive assessment, care coordination, and patient and caregiver education. Her practice includes referral to the Wien Center’s ongoing research studies, especially the use of advanced Alzheimer’s therapies, such as lecanemab and donanemab, with a focus on safety monitoring, individualized care planning, and quality-of-life support.
