Structural Heart Program
A testament to its status as South Florida’s premier cardiovascular program, Mount Sinai Medical Center offers patients access to one of the most experienced, multidisciplinary Structural Heart programs in the region. Here, our expertly trained physicians use catheter-based procedures to treat diseases and conditions that occur within the actual structure of the heart: the muscle, its chambers, and its valves. From birth defects to overly stiff or leaky valves, Mount Sinai’s Structural Heart Program delivers specialized care from a multidisciplinary team of physicians representing interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, general/medical cardiology, adult congenital cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery.
