The Community Partnership program creates a unique philanthropic bond between local business and their hometown medical center. It enables area restaurants, hotels and other businesses to support Mount Sinai through customer contributions. Partners ask their patrons to make a small gift – ranging from 25 cents to $1 per transaction – in support of emergency, cardiac, cancer, neonatal or charity care at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Participating customers, many of whom are visitors on vacation in the area, have the satisfaction of knowing that their donation is going to a worthy cause.
In recognition of their support, Community Partners enjoy access to CareLine and VIP services to meet their hospital-related needs. They also receive invitations to exclusive social events, including the Founders Celebration. In addition, the medical center offers services designed to enhance the health and well-being of Community Partners’ employees. CPR training, health screenings and informative lectures on nutrition, stress management, stroke prevention and other topics are among the services available.
