Dr. Ziyad Aboudan is a neurologist who graduated with a degree in osteopathic medicine from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss. He completed his neurology residency training at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at University of Miami/Jackson Health System.
Dr. Aboudan’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of complex neurologic disorders (such as multiple sclerosis and epilepsy) and clinical neurophysiology. He has advanced proficiency in EEG and EMG interpretation. He has also contributed to neurology research focused on complications associated with multiple sclerosis disease-modifying therapies.
