Zachary Arteaga is a physician assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary neurosurgical team to manage complex inpatient and outpatient cases, including degenerative spine conditions, intracranial tumors, hydrocephalus, and cerebrovascular disorders.

He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Florida International University and brings a strong clinical foundation in surgical and neurologic care. His role includes performing comprehensive neurological examinations, coordinating diagnostic workups, assisting in perioperative management, and supporting postoperative recovery. Zachary is experienced in reviewing advanced neuroimaging studies and ensuring meticulous wound care and follow-up to optimize patient outcomes.
