Dr. Pedro Garcia is a board-certified anesthesiologist and the Anesthesia Program Director at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care for patients undergoing surgical and procedural treatments. With extensive training in both anesthesiology and surgery, he brings a comprehensive understanding of perioperative medicine and patient management to every stage of care.

Dr. Garcia completed his anesthesiology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Prior to specializing in anesthesiology, he completed two years of general surgery residency training and a research fellowship in general surgery, further strengthening his expertise in the care of surgical patients.

    In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Garcia serves as Assistant Program Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center and holds a faculty appointment with New York Medical College. He is actively involved in resident education and physician mentorship, helping to train the next generation of anesthesiologists.

    Dr. Garcia has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations in anesthesiology, pain management, and minimally invasive surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association.

    He is fluent in English and Spanish.
