Dr. Michaela Sljivich is a reconstructive urologist and an Assistant Professor at Columbia University’s Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Sljivich earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, where she also served as a member of The Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her urology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Following her residency, Dr. Sljivich completed her certified Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery (GURS) and Sexual Medicine (SMSNA) fellowship training through the Mount Sinai Hospital Health System. In residency, Dr. Sljivich led the Multidisciplinary Education and Development for Improvement of Catheter Care (MEDICC) medical project, co-creating the urology curriculum for nursing and provider staff.

Dr. Sljivich is dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care, incorporating the latest urological treatment and procedural options into her practice. With extensive experience and a comprehensive approach, Dr. Sljivich treats many conditions to support rapid recovery and long-term health.

Dr. Sljivich has contributed to urologic literature, particularly through her research and peer-reviewed publications on a variety of urologic topics, including men’s health, sexual medicine, and erectile dysfunction.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
