Dr. Maryam Salimi-Tari is an internal medicine physician who earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Fla. She completed her internal medicine residency at UPMC Lititz in Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident in her last year and was an active member of their Sepsis, Resilience, and Research committees.

Dr. Salimi-Tari’s clinical interests include cardiology, rheumatology, and rheumatic diseases. She has contributed to research projects that investigated optimization of osteoporosis screening and neural control of respiratory and cardiovascular function. Her abstracts and presentations have been recognized by organizations such as the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and American College of Osteopathic Pediatrics.
In addition, she co-authored articles on right thalamic stroke and abdominal lipoblastoma.
