Dr Maria del Pilar Solano is a practicing endocrinologist. After receiving her MD degree from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, and completing her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh, Doctor Solano pursued a fellowship In Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The University of Miami.

Dr. Solano also holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Miami, and she joined the University of Miami faculty in 2000.

After 22 years of Academic Endocrinology at the University of Miami, she decided to apply her medical knowledge and clinical expertise to a more personalized, one-to-one setting to educate and empower her patients to achieve control of Obesity, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, and other endocrine conditions.
