He completed his internal medicine residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, Fla., where he previously worked in their emergency department.

Dr. Gonzalez-Cruz’s clinical interests include hospital medicine and critical care. He is adept at diagnosing, treating, and managing chronic and acute illnesses. He was certified in critical care and specialized in family medicine while in Cuba. He also served as a primary care physician in Venezuela. In addition, he is a member of the American College of Physicians.

    Dr. Gonzalez-Cruz is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS). He is also fluent in Spanish.
