Lissette M. Sardinas, APRN

Lissette Sardinas is a dual-certified family and adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate symptoms, develop treatment plans, and support long-term disease management.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami and completed her post-master’s certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Barry University in 2024. Her experience includes managing complex conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and chronic liver disease, as well as providing patient education focused on medication management, nutrition, and lifestyle modification. Prior to her advanced practice role, she worked as a registered nurse in intensive care and cardiac stepdown units, caring for high-acuity patients.
Lissette is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care through clear communication and close collaboration with patients and care teams. Fluent in English and Spanish, she strives to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
