About Dr. Joseph F. Pizzolato
CO-DIRECTOR, GASTROINTESTINAL MALIGNANCIES
Dr. Joseph Pizzolato graduated from New York University magna cum laude and attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Pizzolato completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Columbia University’s New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and then completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Board certified in medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Pizzolato is co-director of Gastrointestinal Malignancies at Mount Sinai’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has a specific interest in new therapies and immunotherapies, and currently serves as a principle investigator for many clinical trials.Dr. Pizzolato also has a strong interest in genitourinary cancers and is actively involved with novel therapies for prostate cancer.
