Dr. Jose A. Chi is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. He completed his family medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, where he also served as served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine post-residency.

Dr. Chi’s clinical interests include hospital medicine and family medicine. His breadth of professional experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics at hospitals and clinics here and abroad have developed his practice of providing high-quality care to his patients.

Dr. Chi is an active member in professional societies, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is also fluent in Spanish.
