Dr. Jessica Emilia Wahi is a thoracic surgeon who earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she received numerous honors, including multiple Resident of the Year and Maimonides awards.

She also completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She then pursued an additional year of advanced clinical thoracic surgery training at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, in Toronto, Canada, where she focused on complex thoracic surgery, including airway, esophageal, and chest wall procedures.

Dr. Wahi has extensive training in robotic-assisted thoracic procedures, using the da Vinci Xi. She is committed to advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques that promote faster recovery, reduced pain, and improved patient outcomes.

Dr. Wahi has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations on topics that are focused on thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, esophageal disease, gastrointestinal surgery, and surgical oncology. Her research has been presented at regional and national scientific meetings, and she serves on the editorial board of the Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery journal.
