Dr. Frayda Kresch is the medical director and vice chair of the emergency department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is board-certified in emergency medicine.

Dr. Kresch earned her medical degree at the Medical School for International Health, Ben Gurion-University/Columbia University in Be’er Sheva, Israel. She completed her residency in emergency medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. She also completed an international clinical fellowship at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University in Oxford, United Kingdom.

Dr. Kresch is a member of the Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, and Medical Review committees at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kresch has contributed to many presentations and publications on topics that include emergency medicine residents’ self-awareness of intubation skills, low-dose ketamine infusion for managing pain, and tuberculosis infection in patients with psoriasis treated with biologic drugs.
