Dr. Ari Ciment is a board certified pulmonologist and critical care physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is also board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Ciment earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical College in Chicago where he received the Alpha Omega Alpha award for excellence. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, a University Hospital of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He went on to complete a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he was named Fellow of the Year. Dr. Ciment has served as an attending for pulmonary and critical care at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he was named House Staff Attending of the Year.

Dr. Ciment has held multiple leadership positions at Mount Sinai in Miami Beach, serving as Chair of the quality improvement committee, member of the medical executive committee, and President of the medical staff. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Mount Sinai, and holds academic appointments at several South Florida medical schools. He has given hundreds of talks and seminars and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals such as the NEJM and CHEST. He also co-authored articles on COPD, Asthma and Pulmonary Embolism for McGraw Hill Critical Care Emergency Medicine textbook

Dr. Ciment is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. He is fluent in Hebrew.
