Dr. Alon Weizer is a board-certified urologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Weizer earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in urology at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. He also completed fellowships in urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery at University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Weizer is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Urological Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Physician Leadership. His areas of clinical interest include, but are not limited to management of kidney cancer, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, early bladder cancer, upper tract urothelial carcinoma both medically and surgical including robotic assisted approaches.

Dr. Weizer has over 200 peer-reviewed publications focused on improving care for patients with urologic cancers and has presented his work at both national and international meetings.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Weizer serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Mount Sinai Medical Center.
