Dr. Ali Zreik is an internal medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. He completed his internal medicine residency at Orlando Health in Orlando, Fla.

Dr. Zreik’s clinical interests include medical education, curriculum development, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), ACLS simulation, and quality improvement. He has contributed to research and poster presentations on topics that include cannabis use in atrial fibrillation, colorectal cancer trends, SARS-CoV-2-related respiratory failure, and racial and gender disparities in cardiovascular disease care.

    Dr. Zreik recently served as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University (MSU) and Assistant Professor at MSU College of Human Medicine. He was also a board member for the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Committee at Hurley Hospital.

    Dr. Zreik is a member and planning chair of the American College of Physicians. He is certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
