Dr. Alexa K. Moreno is an obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to women throughout every stage of life. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pennsylvania and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. During her residency, she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was recognized with the Resident of the Year Award for Excellence in Clinical Skills.

Dr. Moreno brings a unique breadth of experience to her practice, having previously worked as a certified nurse-midwife and advanced practice registered nurse for nearly a decade. Her background provides her with a comprehensive understanding of women’s health, pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecologic care from both nursing and physician perspectives.

Her clinical interests include preventive women’s healthcare, prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and the management of both routine and complex obstetric conditions. During her training, she gained extensive experience performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries, caring for high-risk pregnancies, and diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of gynecologic disorders.

Dr. Moreno is passionate about medical education and has served as a clinical instructor and course coordinator in women’s health. She has also held numerous leadership positions throughout her academic career and remains committed to mentoring future healthcare professionals and advancing women’s health initiatives within the community.

She is fluent in English and Spanish and a certified medical interpreter.
