Dr. Alan Scott Polackwich Jr. is a board certified urologist and the Director of Male Infertility and Erectile Dysfunction at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Polackwich earned his medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his surgical internship and urologic residency at Oregon Health and Science University. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship in male infertility and sexual medicine at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
During his residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University, he worked as an integral member at one of the highest volume centers for urologic microsurgery in the country, where more than 4,000 vasectomy reversals had been performed. Dr. Polackwich has personally performed several hundred microsurgical procedures including vasectomy reversal, microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord and varicocele ligation. At Cleveland Clinic, he trained with the leading prosthetic surgeons in the country. He is highly skilled and experienced in dealing with cases of significant Peyronie’s disease and complex penile implant cases.
