Dr. Adolfo Alvarez is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician who earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University KPCOM. Dr. Alvarez completed his internal medicine residency training as well as his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, while receiving multiple awards including the Howard Kane Fellow of the Year achievement in 2025.

Dr. Alvarez has contributed to numerous poster presentations at annual meetings, conferences, and competitions, including ATS, CHEST, the World Bronchiectasis and NTM Conference, and the CEME Research Poster Competition. He has conducted research exploring quality improvement in increasing awareness of low-dose CT scan screening.

Dr. Alvarez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
