Dr. Amy Ruomei Wu is a urologist specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed her urology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she received comprehensive training in urologic surgery with a focus on female pelvic floor disorders and reconstructive techniques. She went on to complete advanced fellowship training in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami.

Dr. Wu’s clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, and complex voiding dysfunction. She has advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted pelvic reconstructive surgery, as well as mesh and non-mesh surgical approaches including urethral bulking and sacrocolpopexy techniques. Dr. Wu also treats general urologic conditions, including kidney stones, minor open procedures such as hydrocele repairs and circumcisions, as well as BPH-related voiding dysfunction.

Her academic and research work includes multiple peer-reviewed publications and national presentations focused on urogynecologic surgery outcomes, pelvic floor reconstruction, and evolving techniques in female pelvic medicine. She has presented at major national meetings including the American Urological Association and SUFU.

Dr. Wu is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on restoring pelvic function and improving quality of life for women with complex pelvic floor disorders.
