Dr. Victor Del Rio is an internal medicine physician who earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. He completed his internal medicine residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he developed extensive experience providing comprehensive, evidence-based care across a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Del Rio has advanced procedural training in placing central venous lines, arterial lines, peripheral IV lines, as well as performing lumbar punctures and arterial draws. He has trained junior residents in these same techniques, also helping them to gain mastery of these essential patient care procedures. He has contributed to clinical research and presentations focused on lung cancer screening, pulmonary disease, and critical care that have been shared at meetings, including the CHEST Annual Meeting and the Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Quality Improvement Symposium.

    Dr. Del Rio has a long-standing commitment to community service and global health, which previously led him to become Founder and President of Florida International University’s chapter of Global Brigades. Through this organization, he helped establish medical outreach programs that provide free health care services to underserved communities, including a multidisciplinary clinic in Ghana.

    He is fluent in English and Spanish.
