Dr. Dustin L. Slagle is a board-certified emergency and internal medicine physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, He completed dual residency training in emergency medicine and internal medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, followed by fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York, New York.

Dr. Slagle’s clinical interests include critical care medicine, advanced resuscitation, pulmonary and ICU management, and bedside ultrasound. He has a strong focus on the care of critically ill patients, including management of shock, respiratory failure, sepsis, and cardiac arrest, as well as the application of point-of-care ultrasound in critical care settings.

During his training, Dr. Slagle has held multiple leadership and educational roles, including serving as Chair and Vice Chair of the Critical Care Committee for the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association, Residency Council leadership positions, and Ultrasound Fellowship involvement within pulmonary and critical care medicine. He has also developed and led multiple educational curricula and national-level educational content in critical care and emergency medicine.
