Dr. Samuel Brasil Sa is a cardiologist with advanced training in non-invasive cardiology, which includes echocardiography, vascular imaging, and nuclear cardiology. He earned his medical degree from Universidade Federal do Ceará in Fortaleza, Brazil, and completed his internal medicine residency at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the same institution, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.

Dr. Brasil Sa’s clinical interests include comprehensive cardiovascular care, cardiac imaging, and inpatient cardiology. He has a strong foundation in both acute and chronic cardiac disease management, with experience in rapid response and urgent cardiovascular care settings.

He has been recognized for excellence in clinical performance and research, including receiving the Medical Knowledge Award for highest cumulative in-training exam scores and consistently ranking above the 90th percentile nationally. He has also earned multiple honors for research presentations, including first place in the Physicians Society of Central Florida research competition and recognition in national cardiology academic forums.

His scholarly work includes book chapters and numerous podium presentations on topics such as cardiac sarcoidosis, structural heart disease, TAVR complications, endocarditis, and diagnostic cardiovascular challenges. He has presented at regional, national, and international conferences including the American College of Cardiology.
