Maya Bendly is a physician assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She collaborates closely with neurosurgeons in both inpatient and outpatient settings to evaluate and manage patients with complex neurological and spinal conditions.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Florida International University and brings strong clinical experience in acute care and surgical environments. Her role includes performing comprehensive histories and neurological examinations, assisting in surgical procedures, coordinating perioperative care plans, and managing postoperative recovery. Maya is experienced in multidisciplinary collaboration and prioritizes clear communication to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Maya is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care and values strong relationships with patients and their families. She strives to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their neurosurgical care journey.
Maya is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish.
