Leily Santos-Carrion is an advanced registered nurse practitioner specializing in hematology and oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She provides comprehensive outpatient care for patients with hematologic malignancies—including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lymphoma, and other lymphoid cancers—as well as a wide range of benign hematologic conditions such as anemia, iron deficiency, thrombocytopenia, and coagulation disorders. She works closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized, evidence-based care.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida National University and brings extensive experience across both inpatient and outpatient hematology-oncology settings. Her clinical practice includes longitudinal patient evaluation, management of targeted therapies and immunotherapies, treatment of benign blood disorders, monitoring for disease- and treatment-related toxicities, and performing bone marrow biopsies.

Leily is deeply involved in patient and family education, ensuring individuals understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term care plans. She is committed to helping patients navigate both cancer treatment and chronic blood disorders with clarity and support.
