Claudia Ortiz is an advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides cardiovascular care at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In her role, she evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with a range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, and coronary artery disease, while collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at SUAGM and brings a strong clinical background spanning cardiology, emergency medicine, and primary care. Her experience includes interpreting diagnostic studies, managing complex medical conditions, prescribing medications, and educating patients and families on heart health and disease prevention.
