Julia Ashe is a physician assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She works collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons and care teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, supporting patients throughout their treatment and recovery.
She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University and brings experience from both orthopedic and rheumatology settings. Her clinical background includes joint evaluation and management, ultrasound-guided procedures, and arthrocentesis, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Julia is committed to patient education and shared decision-making, ensuring patients feel informed and confident in their treatment plans. She also has experience in academic medicine, having served as an adjunct lecturer in clinical medicine and clinical skills, reflecting her dedication to education and continuous learning.
