Rebecca Branas is a dual board-certified, advanced nurse practitioner in Family and Adult Acute Care, specializing in neurosurgical and acute neurological care at Mount Sinai Medical Center. With extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she provides expert, comprehensive care for individuals facing complex neurological and spinal conditions.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global and brings extensive experience in neurosurgical care. Her role includes performing comprehensive neurological assessments, reviewing and interpreting advanced neuroimaging studies such as MRI and CT scans, managing acute and chronic neurosurgical conditions, and coordinating individualized treatment plans. Rebecca also prescribes and monitors medications and provides thorough patient and family education to support informed decision-making.

With more than a decade of experience and a strong foundation in critical care nursing, Rebecca is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
