Extending Your Quality of Life and Survival with Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer remains a major concern in men’s health and continues to be the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. That said, survivorship is possible with the right treatment, technology, and care team tailored to each case.

As part of Mount Sinai Medical Center’s mission to expand access to healthcare and resources, Steven Hochwald, MD, The Brodie Family Director of the Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center, moderated a discussion led by Mike Cusnir, MD, The Pulver Family Chief of Hematology & Oncology at the Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center. The discussion focused on how patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer can extend their quality of life, exploring the treatments offered at the medical center and their outcomes.
