Mount Sinai Partners with Unrivaled Basketball League

Mount Sinai Medical Center is proud to announce that we’re serving as the Unrivaled league’s official medical provider. Unrivaled, a new women’s basketball league, is representative of Mount Sinai’s commitment to the South Florida community, expanding access to primary and now courtside care.

Since the league’s opening night on Jan. 17, Mount Sinai’s physicians have maintained a strong presence at every game and throughout Unrivaled’s state-of-the-art facility, offering their trusted brand of high-quality, multidisciplinary care to the league’s athletes, staff, and their families. Our brand of comprehensive care has been showcased nationally through Unrivaled.

Throughout the season, Mount Sinai’s physicians have been providing and will continue to provide clinical support during games, along with the administration of pre- and postseason physicals. In addition, medical evaluation, treatment, diagnostic services, imaging, and specialty care will be available as needed. These services will be devised and executed by an expert team, led by three highly accomplished women: Danica Vance, MD, Director of Sports Medicine; Pooja Sharma, MD, CAQSM, Non-Operative Sports Medicine physician; and Olivia Mechanic, MD, Associate Director, Cardiology Fellowship Training Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
