Dr. Paul W. Baker is a general surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, with a particular focus on foregut surgery, bariatric surgery, and abdominal wall reconstruction.
Dr. Baker earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. During his residency, he served as Chief Administrative Resident and Clinical Instructor for New York Medical College and received several honors, including Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and separate distinctions recognizing his compassionate surgical care. He then completed his fellowship training in Advanced Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatrics from the University of Virginia, where he served as a Clinical Instructor and received the Fellowship Excellence in Teaching Award.
