Dr. Marina Stukova is an internal medicine physician who graduated cum laude with a medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She completed her internal medicine residency at University of Miami at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Dr. Stukova’s clinical interests include oncology and radiology. Early in her career, she held research roles at leading institutions, including the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI), Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the University of Colorado Cancer Center, with a focus on pediatric brain tumors, breast cancer metastasis, and chemotherapy resistance.

Dr. Stukova has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in oncology, mental health in disaster-affected communities, and COVID-19 care in older adults. She has received research grants and fellowships from the Radiology Society of North America, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and NIH/NCI.

Dr. Stukova is a member of the American College of Physicians and co-founded her regional chapter of the American Physician Scientist Association. She is also fluent in Russian and Spanish.
