Dr. Pierre P. Truong is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine in Valenzuela, Philippines. He completed his family medicine residency at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus, where he was honored as Senior Resident of the Year for two consecutive years.

Dr. Truong’s clinical interests include adult and pediatric medicine, dermatology, emergency and urgent care medicine, hospital medicine, and musculoskeletal/sports medicine. He is known for his commitment to evidence-based medicine, practice management skills, and ability to build strong relationships with his patients.

Dr. Truong has conducted research on topics such as autoantibody production in the recruitment of inflammatory cells and retinal lesions in the development of autoimmune retinal degeneration and laparoscopic management of large inguinoscrotal recurrent hernia. He is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
