While The Wien Center for Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders has been at the forefront of dramatic advances in Alzheimer's research and treatment for the last 10 years, there's still much to learn and investigate. Research is the key to unlocking the debilitating disease. The Wien Center conducts massive, multidiscipline initiatives utilizing clinical trials, putting Mount Sinai on the frontlines against the age-related disease. The goals are to improve memory and mental responsiveness of Alzheimer's patients, delay the onset of the disease and ultimately find a cure. Similarly racing awareness, educating the community on healthy aging and preservation of brain function have been important goals for the center.
