Biography
Dr. Samira Mahmoudi Habibnejad was born and raised in Iran. She received her medical degree from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran in 1995 and practiced as a general practitioner for two years. She moved to the United States in 1997 and worked as a research assistant and special immunology fellow at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She completed her internal medicine residency at Easton Hospital in Pennsylvania and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Habibnejad has been practicing internal medicine since 2003. Her clinical interests include women's health and preventive care.
Dr. Habibnejad is the medical director for the Primary Care Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center and serves as core faculty for the hospital's internal medicine residency program. She is also a clinical assistant professor for Florida International University.
In her spare time, Dr. Habibnejad enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
