Mount Sinai's Wound Healing Center provides state-of-the-art treatment for healing all types of wounds. The Center has been able to help thousands of patients through innovative and creative treatment. The Center delivers outpatient and inpatient care to patients with the following diagnoses:
- Arterial & Venous insufficiency
- Pressure ulcers
- Diabetic ulcers
- Chronic wounds
- Collagen disorders
- First and second degree burns
- Complicated wounds secondary to surgery
- Ostomy teaching
Physicians with the Center are from a broad range of specialties, including general surgeons, plastic surgeon, vascular surgeon, podiatrists, colo-rectal surgeon and general practitioners.
