Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP)

The prestigious, grant-funded Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) – credited by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) – is a nonprofit, community-based program that provides clinical research to cancer treatment patients and those who may be at risk. The program allows Mount Sinai patients to participate in promising clinical trials offering cutting-edge treatment options before they become widely available. Mount Sinai is:

  • The only adult oncology program in Florida funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI)
  • Active in more than 50 clinical trials
  • One of 61 major research centers nationwide participating in the program
