Statement from the Program Director and Chair:
Our Department has a proud history of educating pathologists who have been prepared for practice in academic institutions, community hospitals and reference laboratories. The program is tailored to prepare each resident for the practice environment for which he/she is most interested. Our goal is to ensure that each graduate is committed to medical excellence in a patient oriented practice of pathology and has the ability to pursue a practice lifetime of self motivated continuing medical education and improvement.
We encourage and support our residents to achieve not only in the acquisition of knowledge but also in developing excellent oral and written communication skills which are essential for all pathologists.
