  Find A Doctor

The time to find a physician is before you need one. If you wait until you are ill, your choice will be based on the immediate need, rather than thoughtful selection. Still, many people unnecessarily postpone finding a physician with whom they can establish a relationship of trust and confidence.

Mount Sinai Medical Center, South Florida's largest, private, not-for-profit, independent, teaching hospital.  Quality comprehensive care is provided in a wide array of medical specialties including cardiology, cardiac surgery, geriatric medicine, oncology, diagnostic imaging, Alzheimer's disease and memory disorders, pulmonary medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and emergency medicine.  For a full list of services, please visit the clinical services page.

In order to have these resources available to you when you need them, call our Physician Referral Service at 305-674-CARE. Doctors in every specialty are ready to help you with your medical problems or just be there when you're in need.

We can answer the questions that concern you most. Because we know you want more than names, we take the time to tell you what you want to know about our physicians - their professional training, years of experience, and specialty area. You may want to know beforehand how our recommended physicians will handle your insurance claims. Whenever possible, our Physician Referral representative will be happy to provide this information.

If you or members of your family are more comfortable conversing in a language other than English, we'll help you choose a physician who speaks your native language. It's another way our Physician Referral Service strives to meet your needs.

New to the area?

You're not alone. South Florida is a known retreat for Northerners who come here for their health and to escape the severe weather. If you're in the area for an extended visit, and are currently being treated for a health problem, we can have your medical records forwarded to the Mount Sinai & Miami Heart doctor of your choice. For peace of mind, just call 305-674-CARE.

Need a second opinion, or a doctor closer to home?
You may need a physician to give you a second opinion or perhaps you have moved from another neighborhood and want a doctor whose offices are nearer to your new home. On the other hand, you may just wish to change physicians. There are many reasons to call 305-674-CARE.

Expecting a baby?
You want your hospital to be easily accessible and you want your doctor to be highly experienced. If you have other children, you want them to be able to visit the hospital to welcome your new baby. Mount Sinai & Miami Heart can fill all these needs and many more. Our nursery has been completely remodeled and we offer the latest monitoring equipment and services to mothers.
