The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division at Mount Sinai Medical Center is conducting a clinical research study to compare the safety and effectiveness of the once daily combination of inhaled Indaceterol (an investigational drug) and tiotropium (an approved drug) with open label tiotropium alone in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
We are currently screening patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease who are over 40 years of age and have a history of smoking. If you qualify, you will receive at no cost:
- Investigational medication
- Study-related office visits
- Study related physical exams and tests
You will also receive financial compensation for your time and travel.

The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division at Mount Sinai Medical Center is conducting a clinical research study to compare the safety and effectiveness of oral QTI-571 (Imatinib) as an add-on therapy in the treatment of severe pulmonary hypertension. We are currently screening patients with severe pulmonary hypertension (18 years of age or older) who remain symptomatic on at least two drugs specific for pulmonary hypertension.
